Below we have added some campaign and action groups working to change the lives of those impacted by alcohol and drugs.

Anyone’s Child is an international network of families whose lives have been wrecked by current drug laws and are now campaigning to change them. There are a range of ways to get involved on their website: https://anyoneschild.org/take-action/

See Beyond, Canada was the inspiration for this project, developed in a partnership between parent advocates and university researchers, the goal was to evoke understanding and challenge the stigma of substance use in Alberta, by showing the family experience of grief and loss connected to substance use;  to ‘see the lives’ beyond the numbers and statistics reported in the news to understand the impact of stigma on families and communities:  https://www.see-beyond.ca/
